Iblard is the magical world created by artist Mr. Inoue. He is an illustrator and fine artist who, amoung other things, help create the look of the Studio Ghibli film Wispers of the Heart. The work is mesmerizing and beautifull to look at. The site has gallerys of artwork with discriptions of what it is in relationship to the world of Iblard.
I could try to discribe the amazing work, but it would not do it justice. Just follow the link and check it out. I found this site vis Ghibli World, a site that you could explore for a long time as well.
I found this movie on the site, that uses CGI animation techniques to map a painting to a 3D model and then allow the camera to move through it. Very cool.
