Here’s Sam the American Eagle and his owl sidekick. They hosted our “trip” through American music. I remember clearly, Sam sang in the finale:
“and we should all remember, as history moves along, that everything is better now since some one wrote a song. Yankee Doodle sing it up, Yankee Doodle dandy, mind music and the step and with the gals be handy”

In Act 3: the Wild West this scruffy dog asks, “Who shot that hole in my sombrero”.At the end of every scene a weasel would pop up shouting…
“Pop goes the weasel”
