It has been announced that Graphic Novel publisher Ambition Studios has been disbanded. In it’s place two new company emerge. Lexpress and Whimsical Entertainment to provide new stories for us. From the website:
Despite the breadth and quality of our titles, Ambition Studios closed its doors in the Fall of 2005. Ironically, the studio could not contain the ambitions of co-founders Jonathan Myers and Alexis Fajardo, as each cartoonist struck out on his own to form new labels.
Myers will take Swampfox and his historical adventures to its new home, Whimsical Entertainment. Kid Beowulf and Plato’s Republic will carry on at Fajardo’s Lexpress.
Congratulations to Alexis and John as they embark on new adventures. I will be rooting for you guys the whole way.
