For all my students from my ZEUM Camp on Comic Book Illustration (and everyone else), here are some Amazon Links to the books I used for the class. Some of these will be a bit more advanced for you guys, but I know a lot of you could get something out of it. To see a page of these books and more, please visit this link HERE.
First up are the newest books in my library by animator and illustrator Ben Caldwell who draws the Comic the Dare Detectives. His style is an animation flare. These books are both excellent.
Here is a classic that belongs on any artist book shelf, How to Draw Comics the Marvel way by Stan Lee and artist John Bucemea. The video is just so-so, but I thought some of you might like it.
Jack Hamm’s books are very old school, but are full of excellent knowledge. A perfect addition to any collection.
I recently read Andy Smiths drawing book, and fond the examples excellent and his discription of muscles great as well.
