Hey all, I am teaching some fun classes at the Cartoon Art Museum this winter break, so come and join me with your parent or your child. Now is a great time to support this fantastic non-profit as they move into a new space for Sprint 2017!
Kids and their Parents will work together to learn how to draw aquatic cartoon animals from the Bay Area. Learn how to translate realistic animal details into your own fluffy, feathery or slimy 2D friend from a sea otter to water fowl to octopus and septapus. The class will focus on shapes, patterns and textures from the natural water world to incorporate into your own critter from the bay’s own animal kingdom. No experience is necessary and all materials are provided.

Cost: $10* per person no matter what age
Age: For kids ages 7 to 12 and their responsible parent or guardian (18+). Please no more then 2 kids per adult. Adults must have a child with them to attend.

Our Winter Break Parent + Child classes meet from 10:30 AM to Noon at the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center in SOMA at 275 5th Street (on 5th Street near Folsom).
The attendance fee for each student of any age is $10 for non-members and $5 for members and is collected through your online reservation payment. The attendance fee covers the cost of art supplies and staff. Adults must have at least one child with them to attend. Children must have at least one adult with them to attend.
These classes are recommended for students from 7-12 years old and their parent(s)/guardian(s).
Reservations must be made by 5pm the day before class. If you have made a reservation and you will not make it to the class, please call to cancel as soon as possible. (See cancellation policy below.) Drop ins are no longer possible with security at our new educational facility.
Please arrive at 10:00-10:20 am to sign in your child or children. All children must be signed in and signed out with a guardian for each class session that they attend. Due to building security at our new educational space no one will be able to be admitted into the class after 10:20pm.THINGS TO NOTE: If your child has a special need or needs please inform us along with your RSVP so that we can better serve your child.

Cancellation: All participants must be pre-paid prior to the day of the class. Full refunds given for cancellation notices received by Friday, December 23, 2016. No refunds given for notice after December 23, including on the day of the class.
