Greetings and Congratulations to all my students from Camp ZEUM. You guys all did an amazing job at the presentation yesterday, and it was fun the meet your family too.
I hope you enjoyed our final Anthology that featured all your hard work and you all keep pushing yourself to draw more and more all the time.
Some reminders for you:
– Start of the character with a stick figure adding “muscles” with shapes.
– When drawing the face always think about the personality of the character. What are they like, and what are they feeling.
– Never feel awkward about posing in front of a mirror to find the best way to draw a certain action.
– Every drawing tells a story.
– Always challenge yourself to take your work to the next step!
When you are feeling that “artist block”, try to draw something that you do not usually draw. Here is a previous post of Drawing Games.
