This year’s theme is Science Fiction through the Ages! We invite you to take a historic look at what was once thought to be fiction and is now fact – the fantastic wonders of past speculation that are part of our everyday life now. Think of future possibilities just as those great writers H.G. Wells, Jules Verne, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clark and many others did! Future announcements will talk more about our programming, including some very interesting science topics… with a look to the future of planet Earth……SiliCon continues its support of The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation by holding an auction during the convention and pledging proceeds of the convention itself. Also we would ask that if you have not taken the time to get a check-up, that you schedule one soon! Prevention is half the battle and early detection could make the difference in life threatening situations. A doctor’s visit costs less than a hospital stay!
