This past week was the second week of Cartoon Boot Camp, June 11-15, 2012 – Introduction to Stop-Motion Animation. The class was at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco CA. We have one more week of Cartoon Boot Camp in July to teach kids ages 10-14 how to draw comics (July 9-13, 2012).
My three students this week did an excellent job as we explored the art of making objects on video frame by frame. Below is our big movie Big Robbery in Star City, which was animated over two classes (4 hours) with audio done over the last day. The music is from the excellent Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com).
