This week I am in Santa Rosa CA to teach the animation class at the Schulz Museum. The class is brand new and hopefully it will result in some cool animations. If all goes according to plan I will have some video clips to show on-line the week after. I will be blogging later this week as well.
JULY 7â€“11 â— 9amâ€“12:30pm | Stop and Go!
Learn the basics of stop-motion animation and make your own animated film by the end of the week. Students will experiment with stop-motion and hand-drawn animation, flip books and zoetropes, as well as other methods. Taught by professional artist Brian Kolm.
COST: $152 for members; $190 for non-members

Students launch their â€œCartoon Safariâ€ week with a drumming session with South African musician Baba Shibambo. They spent the rest of the week creating cartoon creatures and stories with professional cartoonist Brian Narelle as part of our 2008 summer class session.
