Even an artist has to take a break and have a good time, so I went to Tales of the Seven Sea’s Blackbeard’s Wake. It was at a Pirate themed pizza restaurant and featured over 40 pirates in full regalia, a pirate band that featured authentic pirate songs and sea shanties, and a Black Elephant gift exchange. It was a lot of fun, and thanks to the kindness of Elisabeth, Jackson and Mark, I was able to look the part with a cool shirt.
I ‘stoled’ a cool horn shaped pewter tankard as part of the Black Elephant gift exchange and made it with out anyone ‘stealing’ it from me. It’s so cool.(picture coming later)
The night ended with rousing drinking songs and cake.
