This was just a quick illustration I did to try out a real non-repo blue pencil a while back. I usually pencil my comics in the reg blue color-erase pencil, but I thought I had to at least try to use the one folks seem to like. It is colored in adobe photoshop.
Looking back, Volstagg is way to skinny and small in my drawing, for the version in Marvel Comics. I love the idea that this large man, who is also from Asgard (which makes him, not a god, but closer then a lot of other characters), could proboly just sit on all the popular characters and beat them up. Take that Wolverine! AND I love to heroes that are different then the norm.
