I love Halloween and I am an artist, so that means that I get to make some spooky decorations each year.
These cartoony cutouts were created at the youth center I teach at during our drop in workshop. A few were colored by the young adults we work with and the support staff, who are awesome.
There are more photos to come, but you can also check out a lot of my WIP on my Instagram account.
Lots of the decorations are inspired by pop culture that the clients are into, so here is a Dragon Ball Z themed ghost and a zombie Pikachu from Pokemon! The bottom right image is a jam drawing I did with some of the young artists.
A Harry Potter ghost, a superhero skeleton (with inflatable muscles) and a spooky doilie. I love cutting the doilies, such a challenge to cut a folded sheet of paper and then opening up to see what it looks like when your done!
A spooky lady and gentleman, colored by the young artists and staff. Then gent has sort of a showman look to, hopefully go with the carnival themed party they will have this week.
Scary Clown!
and a cute little tough wolf with a pumpkin, DC Comics Ghost Rider, skeleton and mummy!
