After a short hiatus, it’s time to start a new sketch-book (32 pages/ 32 drawings) with a new theme. This book of Daily Drawings is with an RPG (Role Playing Games) theme, sort of inspired by fantasy games like Dungeons and Dragons. This is my 4th mini-sketchbook of 2014 BTW.
Each drawing will be my attempt to create a new type of character that you might find in a fantasy world game. Some will be inspired with classic tropes, and some (I Hope) will be original ideas out of the ol’ head.
So here we go…
#1 – First up it’s the Battle Chef. Making fancy pastries has never been more exciting and dangerous.
note: Since this is the first page, there is room to put a title. I have not come up with one yet.
#2 – Next up is the all-seeing Detective. This character is inspired by the classic D&D monster, the Beholder. But now it is a detective and master-of-disguise.
#3 – Here is the Duck Wrangler, there job is to make sure the royal ducks do not get lost or eaten by predators.
#4 – BEHOLD, the DARK LORD MR FLUFFY CUDDLES! It might look like an adorable creature, but that is the way they trick young girls into being their slaves. Do not trust it! do not hug it! do not cuddle it! Run Away!
#5 – Last, but not least is the Desert Mage. I drew this fellow based on a cactus. He is prickly, but resilient.
