Here are the last 3 drawings of my people themed sketchbook. This is the end of this sketchbook with another to follow.
This character was inspired by some photos I took at the Big Wow Comic Fest in San Jose CA, last month.
This first drawing is a favorite. I really like how the face came out. Inspired by a photo of swing band leader, Lee Press-On taken on New Years eve. I imagine this character as a city dweller who has moved to the country, possibly to escape the law, but is not cut out to work the land.
This drawing is purely made-up. I imagine her as a priestess with mystical powers.
and last, but not lease a drawing for Fathers Day of my dad. I don’t remember ever drawing him, so this is a first. I will have to draw him a few more times to lock down the likeness.
