Daily Drawing – August Project “Creature Guide”

For my Daily Drawings for the month of August I am going to change it up a bit and also work from last months experiment.

I will be tabling at SF Zinefest in San Francisco on August 31-September 1 and I want a new item to sell. So for August I will be doing a challenge in which each day I creature a new creature for a special “guidebook” sketchbook that you can buy at the convention along with the original ink drawing that was used in the book.

There will be 25 creatures featured in the book, and so 25 special packages featuring an original piece of artwork and a guidebook featuring all the creatures (plus a few bonus ones for good luck) There possibly might also be some guidebooks that you can buy without the original artwork. The final plans will be clear in a few weeks.

The image above is a rough idea of the grid I will use to make the creature combinations, similarly to what I used for my creatures last month. I have a few other ideas on the final method I will use to pick the source animals, so nothing is set in stone.
