Well half way through the week long Cartoon Art Camp at the Cartoon Art Museum. The kids today jump right in and worked hard to design there characters. We did some work to explore way to find different character possibilities through combining ideas. I was also going to give a lesson on drawing faces, but it seems to work better to just let them work on a project and help them more one on one where they need. It’s been very fun and it looks like I might be teaching another week long session in August. More news will be available in the next few weeks.
I find it so refreshing how original the ideas are: a robot duck, a water warrior, a snake women, and many more. I can’t wait to show you how nice all of it is turning out. I even created my own character.
Images on Friday….be here.
