Sketch 2-18-0

This sketch is base on a Japanese TV superhero from the 1950’s called….well I don’t know what he is called. I was inspired from a very different source, Evil Eye comics by Richard Sala. The book features the adventures of a sexy-gothish girl, Peculia. Peculia has a distant obscure boy friend, Obscuros, based on the same Japanese Superhero I had for reference. I then found a photo of the hero in a Japanese book on TV superheroes from the 1950’s to 1980’s. Such cool heros from Japans past.

Mr. Sala’s work is really beautiful to look at, with a dark-sense of humor, and beautiful women. How can you not go wrong with those elements. I originally saw his work he help create for the late great studio, Colossal Pictures, for MTV’s Liquid TV.Tag(s):|||||||||
