Update 12-6-05

After an exciting weekend of teaching and learning, I spent last night taking the 55 rough pages and scanning them in. They where then placed in InDesign in the right order.

It’s amazing how much you catch your errors when you “read it out loud.” Just like catching a spelling or grammatical error when reading out loud, putting together a mock book will help spell out what needs to be changed.

For me of course its more like an animation story reel. I will slowly bring in freshly altered story pages, and then replace the final roughs with the final scanned in art .

One thing that I learned this weekend is the important is how much better meeting with other artist and appreciators live can help build up energy for your project more then any blog, website or even a phone call can provide; the energy some how travels from one person to another.
