So…Many…People.
I never thought that walking would be so hard to do, but there are already so many folks at the con that it’s an accident just waiting to happen.
I have spent most of my time milling around the small press area and I got a chance yesterday morning to go the other side and meet some great folks like Animator Bill Plympton. In small press there are lots of folks I want to go meet and at least two booths are doing painting demonstrations. So today I plan to go back and look around.
Besides that I am researching possible companies to print BTGC, but most of them want to see the finished work or my story is not a good fit with there existing titles. The comvention is humbling in the fact that there are so many artists. I feel out of my league with most for sure, but I know that some of that is just the normal artist brain at work.
I have not seen as many costumes as I would have imagined, so I hope today there are more. I do have photos to show later next week.
Sales are slow at the CAM table, or least for my own book they are. I am not sure how to get some attention without screaming and begging at folks, and I am all ready losing my voice.
I sat in on a panel on Thursday with one of my favorite artists and writers Linda Medley. It was cool that she talked a lot about story telling and comics.
More later.
