From time to time I will post about the Riverside CA band the Boxkutters. You see, one of the members of the band is my brother-in-law and so I have a good idea of whats going on with the band. Well they have recorded their first single, Mistreated, and it’s avalible to listen to on their MySpace page.
Mistreated is a song about leaving a bad situation and moving on. In the song it refers to a guy leaving a girl, but it easily could be getting rid of the friend who you don’t like but your still hang out with or leaving a job where you are treated badly. Sometimes you have to move on, saying “I’m never looking back!.”
It’s a good song, give it a listen. And of course the guys like feedback, so don’t be shy and tell them what you think.
