Happy Malcolm White day!
February 26th, 2008 at 11:49pm
One of the founders of the Cartoon Art Museum, Malcolm White celebrated his 75th birthday today and the museum threw him a surprise party with his friends, family and colleagues. As a special surprise mayor Gavain Newsome declared today as Malcolm White Day in San Francisco February 26, 2008. Sadly this special new holiday is for today and only for today, but I am posting it here on the web so in the future we can celebrate it again.
There was cake and food. The first gallery (where the Mary Blair exhibit is) will be named for him as well.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MALCOLM!
