Here are a few watercolor paintings I did this Monday.
My goal is to get to the point where I can produce quality painted art fast with the hope of using the skills in both commercial and commissioned work. So when you guys come to my table at Silicon or Wondercon you can commission me to paint something for you.
Most of these painting use no under drawing in pencil. It’s all paint.

They were painted on 5.5″ x 8.5″ bristol board which is a lot like a hot press watercolor paper.

They look a little washed out because the paper is really a bright white and there is no sizing or texture to keep the paint from absorbing into the paper fast.
The process ends up being more like drawing at times, which I like.
This landscape was done buy painting first and then outlining with a pen over top.
