Well…my bags are just about packed and then it’s off to bed. I have to get some sleep before my flight in the morning that will whisk me off to San Diego…a magical land of sun shine, zoo animals, and beautiful girls dressed as wookies. A land where the streets of the Gas Light District are a mixed of military personal dressed in polo shirts standing next to a guy who weights 300 pounds in a spandex. Ah, good times ahead.
My flight will be getting in tomorrow in time for a nice lunch, picking up my badge and a bit of site seeing…leading up to Preview Night. I won’t be working the table (E11) until Thursday Morning. The table is going to be a hoot with lots of big names in comics coming to help raise money for the Cartoon Art Museum.
For me I will be taking the opportunity of being trapped in a room with 200,000 people to work on my Graphic Novel and numerous other projects at the table as well as doing regular and COLOR sketches for donations. So if you want a sketch from me, come by table E11 and if you have time, ask me about my projects. You will be glad you did.
