Mask of Foam at ZEUM

This is just for fun. While at the ZEUM (the art and technology center for kids in San Francisco) I couldn’t resist playing with some of the artist in craft areas they have. The bottom floor has an area where you can make/wear costumes, make a clay figure and animate it, be filmed flying like superman and other theatrical things. They have an area where you can use some cheap thin foam to make a mask with markers and staples. This is what I created.

Here it is with some coloring done in Photoshop.

Now you just have to create the super-hero to go with it, watch the movie studios take the character and make gazillions, then sue them for your cut.

    Isn’t that how it works?

Sue them. Nah, they won’t use it unless they give me a contract I want. Or maybe I will create a character ONLY to make money and that I can sell off the rights for millions. Then I can do what I want with the money.
