Well, I am finally home.
I am back from the convention and back from my visit with my sister and brother and law in Southern California.
I came back to find that my old iMac does not turn on. Yikes. Nothing like coming home and to not be able to use your computer to put a damper on an exciting last two weeks. But I am not going to let that stop me from blogging, no sir.
Luckily I have other computers to use in the house, but it still pisses me off to find that my ‘baby’ I won over 6 years ago from MacAddict Magazine is feeling sick. And it makes me feel even sicker that I might have to spend money on fixing it.
Oh well. I hope to post some photos this weekend if possible and blog a bit about Comic-Con 2006 as well.

Did you try out some watercoloring on the spot at the con?

I forgot my watercolors at home and did not feeling like going out and buying some. I did this awsome illustration while sitting at the booth that would have rocked big time with some paint.
I will get some pictures up as soon as I figure out what ailes my computer.

The same thing happened to me – while I was gone, my computer decided it was time for early retirement. Fortunately I was prepared and had already ordered a new one. And, more importantly, the crash had happened so slowly that I was able to save all my data.

Your a lucky lady.
I am hoping mine is just the monitor, but since it is just a all in one unit, it’s going to cost a lot to fix if it can be.
If it can’t be fixed, I am hoping to be able to get the hard drive out and to mount it seperatly.
