This weekend the revised version of the Pirates of the Carabbian ride at Disneyland opens in time for the movie premier. They have taken the original ride an added Capt. Jack Sparrow into the adventure as well as some other elements from the movie and updated sound and effects. I want to go, but can’t. Makes me sad.
This French site has some promo Hi-Res photos of the new elements in the attraction as well as a making of quicktime movie.
On another note, the Tiki-Room at Disneyland is now 43 years old and Tiki-Talk is now talking about it.
On other news, LaughingPlace.com reported that a 2D animated feature is in the works at Disney Animation, thanks in part by JohnLasseter. All I can say is….wow. Very exciting.
