Well, it’s that time again to give a report. While my site was down for a more then two weeks (I could not upload files), I was able to re-work my graphic novel visual manuscript again. The old version of the script was heaping on way too much information that would just confuse the reader with facts that don’t even matter. Plus the story was so heavy on info it was getting to light on entertainment. So I set about to re-write the first two chapters in a different way. I don’t want to give too much info away, but the new version of the story is much, much better. I also have not tried to figure out the whole book100% like I did before, only working on the first 2.5 chapters. I know the story, but getting to tight with it has really set me behind my set goals. AND I really want to sit down and get drawing, but when the work is so personal at times, it makes it hard to do. Though I should be working on the final painted art when I am the Artist in Residence at the Schulz Museum on June 10, 2006, so come on by and watch me work.
SO I just sent a PDF off to a trusted reader to take a look and see if the story is working. Then (hopefully) I begin the art in a few days time. I know that I will make changes as I go along, so what I need now is just an idea that the direction is right.
