A Benefit for the Cartoon Art Museum

Find out how movies really get made at Pixar Animation Studios! This special evening starts with a reception at Pixar’s Emeryville campus. Over wine and hor’s d’oeuvres you will see a stunning gallery exhibition featuring the pre-production artwork for the Walt Disney Pictures presentation of a Pixar Animation Studios film, The Incredibles, opening November 5, 2004. Guests will then be escorted into Pixar’s state-of-the-art 240 seat theater to hear the artists and wizards behind Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles share their unique perspectives on the movie-making process.

Schedule for the evening:

• 5:30pm Gates open

• 6pm-7pm Art exhibition & hor’s d’oeuvres

• 7pm-8:30pm Pixar speakers

• 8:30pm-9:30pm Reception and mingle

• Gary Rydstrom, Academy Award®-winning sound designer

• Andrew Stanton, Academy Award®- winning writer/director, Finding Nemo

• Mark Andrews, Head of Story, The Incredibles
