Meet me at the Schulz Museum this upcoming Saturday Sept 11, 2010 from 1-3 and other stuff happening

Hey all, just a reminder I will be at the Sketch-A-Thon at the Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa CA this Saturday Sept 11, 2010 from 1-3. I will be doing sketches and chatting with anyone who comes on by.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 ? 1–3pm
Cartoonist Sketch-A-Thon Celebrates 60 Years!
Celebrate 60 years of Peanuts with Bizarro creator Dan Piraro and over a dozen other guest cartoonists. From 1–3pm visitors can meet, watch, and talk to a variety of guest cartoonists including Dan Piraro, All Over Coffee creator Paul Madonna, digital caricaturist Rhoda Draws, animator Mike Gray, and more. Cartoonists will speak with visitors, share and demonstrate their work and sketch something for the Schulz Museum’s collection.

At 3:30pm, Dan Piraro will give a presentation and speak about his work. Piraro recently won the Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year.

Event: Schulz Museum Sketch-A-Thon Saturday September 11, 2010 1 to 3 pm

I will be drawing and meeting folks at the Schulz Museum for their Sketch-A-Thon to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Charles Schulz’s Peanuts comic strip.

I am honnored to be joining the likes of artist Debbie Huey, Lex Fajardo, Mike Gray, Paul Madonna, Lark Pien, Shaenon Garrity, Brian Nerelle, Michael Capozzola, and more!

So come by to buy a book, get a sketch, or just chat. I know it will be lots of fun!

Second Saturday Cartoonists Celebrate
60 Years of Peanuts
Every second Saturday the Schulz Museum hosts a new Cartoonist-in-Residence! This month meet, watch, and talk to over ten different cartoonists, including All Over Coffee creator Paul Madonna; graphic novelists Alexis Fajardo and Brian Fies, whose graphic novel won the 2005 Eisner Award; Nickelodeon animator Mike Gray; and more! Cartoonists will speak with visitors, share their work, and draw something for the Schulz Museum’s collection celebrating the 60th anniversary of Peanuts.
