Where: Chabot College
When: June 17-21 – 9am to 10:30am (week 2)
Who: kids

About: I will be teaching Cartooning: Super Natural at Chabot College for their Kids on Campus program this summer.

The dark and mysterious beings of the supernatural realm are everywhere. It’s a world where you might find wizards fighting zombies, nerdy vampires, well-meaning skeletons, rock and roll werewolves, and unspeakable evil forces. Enter this class only if you dare! In this class, you’ll learn how to draw classic spooky and mysterious characters (with a twist) and then you will design your own creation in a final illustration. This class can get a little spooky but won’t keep you up at night!

Reading this post in an email and can’t see the video, visit HERE

I help direct and facilitate an activity at the Cartoon Art Museum’s Third Thursday event on Jan 17, 2013. We had some fun creating some Stop-Motion animation in the lobby with visiting guests.

I will also be drawing at the museum’s Third Thursday event on February 21, 2013 as well with a #Hashtag theme.

Get more information on the Yerba Buena Third Thursdays at the CAM as part of the YBGC HERE

The boxy looking characters are the final results of our event last year, the Paper Monster Party which should be back this year as well. See photos from that event HERE.

We used iStopmotion for Mac to make the animation.
