The Bronze Age Blog has a nice post on Eclipse Comics’ Sabre, the first graphic novel that was sold directly to comic book stores and not to news stands. Of course this was back in 1978 and now in 2009 most graphic novels (the physical paper kind) are sold in book stores more then in comic book stores. A new year is upon us and 2009 is sure to be a year of surprises (to say the least). I have a new external 300GB hard drive to back up my files and I finally installed Mac OS X Leopard. I also have been enjoying using my iPod Touch.

This week I finished up teaching my Winter Cartoon Boot Camp class at the Cartoon Art Museum. The class was a big success and was a lot of fun.

Next week I start sessions for a couple after school programs, unless being called for jury duty puts it all in chaos.
