Pen and Ink drawing with color in PhotoShop. This art includes some work with a brush dipped in ink, something I am far from good at. I find I want to always rest/drag my hand on the art as I work and that is probably not good.

These were drawn during my class at MSAT, yesterday. Each one was based off of a Random Name from my deck of Super Hero Names. The first one is called Dragon Lantern and the second is Warlock Fish. Click for larger images.

If you haven’t seen the work of the Spanish artist Juanjo Guarnido has created for Blacksad, it’s worth a look. He has created a cool film noir world of anthropomorphic animals all rendered in watercolor. The work is simple stunning.
