Yesterday I helped out, as a cartoonist, at the826 Valencia St. writing center. While kids worked together to write a story for book (pictured below), I did the illustrations. It’s fun to see what you can do in a very short amount of time.

This film superhero came out the same time as the Superman seriels/TV were popular. I would like to know if there was a comic book tie in of some sort. Any information would be appreciated.
