Well, its tommorow. I will be spending from noon on Saturday to noon on Sunday drawing a 24 page comic. One way to come up with an idea for the comic is the Random Log Line Generator. Its so much fun. Here are a few samples.
A kind-hearted spy has a boring conversation with a mechanic.A childish dessert chef, a surfer, and an understating boy attend a convention in a laundry mat.
A noodlemaker and a legion of overbearing agents gain valuable experience.
A mobster and a geeky-but-sexy documentary filmmaker worry about their loved ones in a kid’s room.A werewolf finds the wallet of the nervous mother of a CIA agent in a hospital waiting room.
I also have a post of links from before HERE. Random Superhero and other wierdness.

On April 23, 2005. I will be representing Atomic Bear Press at 24 Hour Comic Book day. I will be in Berkeley, CA at Comic Relief.
Here is from the official site:
What is a 24 hour comic?
The 24 hour comic challenge is for a cartoonist to completely create a 24 page comics story in 24 straight hours. A “24 hour comic” is any comics story you make while facing the challenge, even if you take more than 24 consecutively-awake hours to make the comic or if you end after 24 hours with a story that’s shorter than 24 pages. For more details on the challenge, click here.
Can I do it? Sure. Am I insane? Maybe. What is the price of tea in China? Who knows.
I am looking forward to pushing my limits with this challenge, and of course you can see the results here in some form the week after.
Wish me luck, or better yet, come on by stare at us till we go crazy.

I know, I know, it’s been a while since I posted here. But here I am with more news on issue #3 that is in progress ( you have bought a copy of issue #2 haven’t you? ).
I am starting to get feedback from one of my peeps who has all ready brought to my attention an area that needs work. I can’t tell you much about it, except it’s the BIG moment that everyone who has followed the adventures in #1 and #2 is waiting for. So I now have changed 2 pages into 7 pages, YIKES!
Here is my proof:
This is why it is so important to mock up a version, to make sure the flowes right and can be read by all.
So if any of my other reader peeps are out there, Bring it ON!

Yesterday (April 10) I had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Silvers and purchasing his hard cover art book at APE 2005. Stephen is best known for his character designs for the animated series: Disney’s Kim Possible, Nickelodeon’s Danny Phantom and Crash Nebula (a spinoff from the Fairy Odd Parents.) The book is amazing and it was made even better by the addition of a drawing Mr. Silver did of Dr. Drakken from Disney’s Kim Possible inside. Here is a .gif of Stephen drawing:

And here is one of Stephen holding up the drawing he just did:

Stephens work has brought about new excitemen and freshness to many of the top TV animation productions today. To view more of Stephens work as well as purchase his book, visit silvertoons.com
